Some 2005 and 2006 model year Corolla and Matrix vehicles equipped with a 1ZZ–FE engine may exhibit a “no start” or “extended crank” condition. This may be caused by insufficient fuel pressure after the vehicle has been parked for a period of time. The fuel pump assembly manufacturing process has been improved to correct this condition.
